The art work is about the relationship between my parents and I. My living condition is extremely different from others because my parents force me to follow the rules they built. They always say that it is good for me, but the action actually hurt me a lot. I use the pillow to represent my heart which is soft and easy to break. Then I use three different kinds of things to represent the “protect” from my parents——umbrella, nest, and box. They all seem to protect people in our common sense, but they actually hurts me.
